The food was very tasty, but what stood out the most was the service. Impeccable. You honestly don’t find service like this anymore. They went above and beyond to cater to my needs being pregnant and were extremely knowledgeable. Also, their prawn ravioli - get it! It was perfection! The bread roll was very unique and delicious and the Wagyu beef was incredibly tender, even though I had to eat it well done, it was still very tender! Thank you guys for an amazing experience.
We had the banquet menu, it was a lot of food, loved the ravioli and King prawn. The veal katsu with rice was a bit disappointing though, because it was the main course at the end we had pretty high expectations, but the meat was thin, well done, and felt greasy and plain after the amazing seafood. We wanted to take it away because we were too full, the servers were very understanding. Overall pretty good, but we're definitely not going to order the banquet menu if we ever visit again.
Ito at Surry Hills isn’t just a dinner, it’s an experience! When you’re paying the extra money for a night out, it’s exactly what you want. An excellent layout and feeling as you walk into the venue. The food is clean, fresh, vibrant and most importantly delicious. Our waiter was so friendly and knowledgeable, really helped us understand the menu. We were a group of 4 and decided to just choose our dinner and shared everything. The tuna and wagyu strip were the standouts, but everything was excellent. If we went today and picked everything we didn’t choose, I am sure we would have the same experience. Oh, and the bread is GOATED, a must order!
I had a wonderful experience at Ito for Valentine’s Day with my Wife. The food was utterly OUTSTANDING. The service and atmosphere were also fantastic. Pricey yes, but when you want to treat yourself and your partner, Ito does not disappoint. Honestly, my #1 restaurant so far and I booked here randomly. I’m so glad we experienced it.
Really nice restaurant on the Crown street strip of restaurants. The kombu bread was a great start off being a total umami bomb. The sashimi was very fresh and came with a smoked soy sauce that elevated the sashimi. The eggplant dish was very good with a nice touch of spice. The tempura batter on the zucchini flowers was perfectly light and paired well with the umami laden anchovy mayo. The veal katsu was quite large and the chicken was nice. Definitely finish with the Taro ice cream mochi. Overall it was a nice meal.
One of our favourite restaurants in Sydney. The mix of flavours is next level. Brought my wife here for her 40th. We got the private dining area which was perfect for our group of 16. We ordered the $89 banquet and added in the eggplant and sirloin. Service was impeccable. Always there to fill up the water glasses or take drink orders. They made some cheese pasta for the my kids as well. Can’t wait to be back.
The Mog Champ sends his regards. Celebrated another birthday at Ito, loved their Japanese-Italian fusion signature banquet they provided - definitely worth it for anyone visiting Ito in the future. Loved their yellowfin tuna, tartare, ravioli and eggplant especially! They provided amazing and friendly service, the inside has a cozy vibe especially with the dim lighting at each small table - their a la carte menu isn't too big so the banquet provides great value to begin with. Thanks for the amazing dinner Ito! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ
Excellent Japanese food with a modern Italian twist. The Edamame with nori and chilli was the perfect appetiser, and the Yellowfin Tuna was delicious. The sashimi plate was very fresh and great for a group of 4. The prawn and scallop ravioli was the star of the show, I wish I could have it every day - absolutely delicious. The shiitake noodles and veal katsu were good as well. Very good service, with an attentive waiter who explained the dishes to us and gave us the best recommendations for food and drinks. A must visit for its great food, drinks and ambience ⭐
